MACBETH STRIKES AGAIN!!!
I originally thought Macbeth was dying of making a face when the wind changed, however old wives tales have yet to make it on our reasons for McB’s demise.
The Christie’s art show of D&S stuff comes down today, and I have to say that the response was very positive. I am bitterly dissapointed. My thought was that we would be mocking the other artwork that was up there, however people seriously stared at our ‘Sad clowns say So much’, an in their severe repose tlaked about the subtleties and nuances of a picture which was, to us, a piss about in a clown costume.
My friend recently returned from comicon baring all the goodies and freebies that the event provides, and after speaking in depth about the event I was led to believe that comicon is a much more worthwhile venture than the Otakon that I went to a few weeks ago. Apparently people wer actually able to get into the panels for a start, but the main thing was it sounded like there was an actual attempt by the hosts to provide entertainment whereas Otakon had a feel of ‘This event is only as good as you make it’.
Also my friend picked me up a sweet Zelda shirt that now completes my collection of nerdy stuff that embarresses me whenever I have friends over. I put it right next to my replica masater sword, mirror shield and double headed flail (the flail is just for fun).
