the New Testament
Sunday, October 28th, 2007![]()
Hope everyone had a good weekend. I’m pretty sure that I did. I don’t really remember, but, I don’t specifically recall anything bad that happened. What happened? Oh, yeah, there was a Halloween part which I attended, costumed as Simon Tam accompanied by an incomplete Serenity crew: Malcolm Reynolds, Inara, and Jayne. Well… happy Halloweenakah.
More after I eat lunch.

No need, the explicit details of your lunch and how you procured it can be saved for another time.
Thank you for tuning in, readers, and might I start by saying this shoot was meant to go off inside the church. However, due to an unforeseen wedding that was occurring off panel(s) to our left, we were forced to settle for outside, which, considering how anxious we were about the lighting situation inside, may have been a blessing from the almighty himself. Or his judgment, ensuring that the heathens’ work not take place within his house.
Aside from the rather plump woman in white and high heels and her newly acquired husband in full penguin regalia, this was a relatively flawless shoot, consisting of several beautiful long shots of the church and its grounds. Ian was spoiled for choice during layout, and although this wasn’t the image I had pegged for use in this comic, I have to say, I am very pleased with the closing frame.
That’s it from me, but for this warning: Remember that every time you step onto the hallowed ground of a church, you must be ready to subject yourself to lies and a bombardment of loosely connecting arguments built upon themselves to trick and deceive you. And what’s at stake, nothing less than your soul my dears. Your delicious, gullible souls…
Not really, I love church, it goes down real smooth. Especially when there’s wine and crackers.
