Good morning, ladies & gentlemen. And, of course, a fine good evening to our true fans, who refused to sleep until another of our glorious works graced their desktops. To you, in fact, i shall salute. As you are certainly re-reading upon the morn, i shall continue assuming we’re all here post-breakfast. This strip is…very simple. It’s about a coffee table. The backstory is as epic as it is interesting: Ian & Chris found a coffee table.

You may make your own judgement as to whether or not hilarity ensued. No, i take that back. You will find the comic and all our other works funny until the end of time. I know better than to leave these kinds of decisions to you people. I happen to really enjoy the effect our filter has on sunny, outdoor shots. I’m hoping we can come up with more scripts that involve scenes like this, ideally to be shot during the early fall, when neither ian nor i will be dying of unpleasant weather. (He is extremely vulnerable to heat, i to cold.) I’d like to take another moment to thank everyone that came to support us at the live show, and to condemn all of you that did not. So there. The Dan & Steve show grows in power, ascendant. Now it is time for me to hunt down some Zs, as the kids say.

Coffee is pretty good. We have a strip bout it coming up… eventually.

This strip came about as we were searching for something quick and funny to do as we were bogging ourselves down in strips which were as many as 16 panels which, while funny and worthwhile, were quite time consuming. As I mulled it over aiming for brevity lost, I noticed that for some reason a coffee table had appeared on our back porch.

I’d like to say that the rest is history, and maybe it is, but it’s all here for you to judge.
